Nansha talent association established for further quality development

The Nansha High-caliber Talent Association, an exchange platform, was jointly launched by talents in Guangzhou's Nansha district on Dec 14.

Attendees of the association's first general meeting included: Zhang Cai, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the South Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Guangzhou), Chen Xinzi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Science, and Zhang Jiabing, director of the organization department of the CPC Nansha district committee.

The association is a non-profit social organization spontaneously formed by high-level talent in Nansha, aiming to gather the wisdom and strength of high-level talent in the district and serve regional high-quality development.

Zhang Jianbing said that the establishment of the association marked a new chapter in talent team construction in Nansha district. He expressed hope that the association could unite and encourage talent throughout the whole district to make greater contributions.

The meeting elected the first council members of the federation, and Zhang Cai was elected its first president.

Zhang said the association will help Nansha build a dynamic talent team that matches its economic and social development.

The association is an effort by Nansha to establish a special international talent special zone and help build the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into a high-level talent hub.
