Nansha Shrewsbury school makes new construction progress

The main structure of Nansha Shrewsbury Experimental School's teachers' dormitory was finished on Nov 12, which is the fifth and the last building of the project to be topped out.

The building is now ready for its next stages of filling in the framework, cladding the exterior, decorating, and interior construction such as electrical and water installations.   

The teachers' dormitory building is 73.15 meters high, and has twenty-two floors above ground with a floorage of 11,087 square meters and a basement floor with a floorage of 11,207 square meters.

The building primarily consists of dorm rooms, a kitchen, a small dining room, a rest area and a reception office to provide comprehensive and high-quality services for teachers' daily lives.

Nansha Shrewsbury Experimental School is located near First Gongye Road in the Nansha Street community. Its purpose is to serve as an international education demonstrative school to boost the development of Nansha's educational system.

The entire construction project of the school includes one large underground basement, one teaching building, one teachers' dormitory, two student dormitories and a kindergarten.
