Nansha's hi-tech, agricultural products on display at Guangzhou Expo

Nansha district's hi-tech products and distinctive agricultural products were showcased at the 29th Guangzhou Expo, which opened at the China Import and Export Fair Complex on Oct 27.

Exhibits such as solid launch vehicle models, inspection UAVs and underwater robots were displayed to showcase the district's latest achievements in emerging industries spanning aerospace, marine technology and artificial intelligence.

A solid carrier rocket developed by CAS Space, which can launch six satellites at one time, will be put into batch production in Nansha in the future and was showcased during the event. 

Nansha agricultural products including Nansha blue crab, guava and pitaya have attracted a lot of visitors at the special agricultural exhibition area. 

"Nansha blue crabs harvested this season are quite fat and now is the best time to enjoy them," said Xiao Xiaoxia, person in charge of Nansha Fishery Industrial Park's booth. Xiao added that the average price for half a kilogram of Nansha blue crab is about 150 yuan ($23.44).
