Preferential policies help lure financial institutions to Nansha

The financial working bureau of the Nansha Development Zone held a promotion fair on local financial supporting policies on Sept 6, gathering representatives from 50 key financial intuitions.

Nansha has been devoting continuous efforts to upgrading and optimizing preferential financial policies since 2016 when the district launched its first version of preferential financial policies. 

The latest version of the policy has now basically covered all 35 financial business forms.

A total of 134 key financial companies enjoyed a total reward of more than 2.7 billion yuan ($417.44 billion) from preferential policies at the end of 2020.

The agglomeration of financial institutions in Nansha has been expanded thanks to the preferential policies as the district has now become home to 6,617 financial institutions by the end of July 2021, with 14 of them being legally licensed financial institutions, accounting for one quarter of Guangzhou's total.
