Hengli Station adds temporary bus station on north side

With the first-phase of Guangzhou Metro Line 18 has been put into trial operation, and overall plans for the transport between downtown Nansha to Hengli Station have been released, local media outlets reported on Aug 25.

A temporary bus station will be built at the north side of the No 1 Exit of Hengli Station and a temporary parking area for vehicles will be built at the east side of the No 4 Exit of the station. 

A pair of bay bus platforms will be set up at both sides of the auxiliary lane of Fenghuang Avenue.

The bus station will have 15 parking spaces for buses and eight of them have charging facilities. Canopies in the corridors have also been installed to protect passengers on rainy days. 

The parking area, which covers a total area of 2,632 square meters, will be able to hold 84 vehicles.
