Guangzhou's Nansha district will move forward with the construction of a batch of major modern agricultural projects in 2021 to lay a solid foundation for the development of local modern agricultural development, China News Service reported on July 29.

The projects include a comprehensive service center for agriculture in the Pearl Bay, a comprehensive administration center for the Nansha fishery industrial park and a sightseeing park featuring digital agriculture.

An experimental park located in Nansha's Pearl Bay, the core area of Nansha, is now under construction. The park has innovated its circular economy, primarily in areas such as plantation and breeding, striving to become an agricultural base featuring production, exhibition, tourism and relaxation.

Nansha fishery industrial park, covering a total area of around 39,000 mu (2,600 hectares), is located at the southernmost area of Guangzhou, which is also the marine outfall of the Pearl River.

Nansha is devoted to developing modern agriculture with the help of advanced technologies from the city of Guangzhou.
