Hengli Station on metro line 18 debuts

The Hengli Station on Guangzhou Metro Line 18 in Guangzhou's Nansha district began trial operations on July 12, being the first of its kind on the metro line.

The station, covering a total floorage of over 50,000 square meters, is a symbol of the metro line, setting standards for other stations in areas spanning the quality of interior design, and mechanical and electrical installations. 

Currently, 97 percent of the civil work on Guangzhou Metro Line 18 has been finished and the construction of the main structure has been completed.
