Nansha medical staff sent to support Liwan

A total of 100 medical staff members from Guangzhou's Nansha district were dispatched to Liwan district - where Guangzhou's first confirmed COVID-19 case was detected - on May 28, to help take nucleic acid samples from all residents.

These medical staff members were from 27 clinical departments of local hospitals in the district, including Guangzhou Nansha Central Hospital, the First People's Hospital of Nansha District and the Second People's Hospital of Nansha District.

After receiving training on taking nucleic acid samples, the team finished the task of getting samples from over 40,000 people from five communities in Liwan district.
