A new service center is set to provide ambitious young businesspeople from out of town with improved legal assistance in Guangzhou's Nansha district.

That's in the wake of the plaque unveiling ceremony on April 20 for the Nansha Legal Assistance Service Center for Hong Kong and Macao Youths Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which was held in the district.

The center is expected to provide all-round legal services for ambitious young people and companies from Hong Kong and Macao, to encourage them to bring their talents and flourish there and help turn Nansha into a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The service team in the center comprises lawyers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao and the team will offer all-day round services to help the young entrepreneurs deal with problems in areas such as attracting investment, as well as in production and operations.

Facilities such as mediation rooms, negotiating rooms and bookshelves loaded with law books have been set up in the center.

Nansha has been pushing to establishing a new legal services mechanism featuring a "1+1+N" formula.  The first "1" stands for setting up a legal assistance service center for young innovative and entrepreneurial Hong Kong and Macao folk, while the second "1" stands for the provision of a one-stop cross-border legal service which is provided by lawyers, both online and on-site.

The "N" means that Nansha plans to establish several mobile legal assistance service stations in the district.

At present, five innovation and entrepreneurship bases set up in the district for Hong Kong and Macao young business venturers have attracted 236 teams or companies.
