Nansha Station starts construction in March

Nansha locals will soon be able to travel to nearby cities such as Zhongshan, Foshan and Jiangmen by train, after Nansha Station, which started construction on the Nansha Port railway in early March, is completed.

Nansha Station, located to the north of the Qichong River in Zhujiang Street community, is set to be an important transportation hub station like Guangzhou South Railway Station. It will include 14 platforms and 30 tracks.

It is expected that the construction of Nansha Station will be finished by the end of October.

The Nansha Port railway, an important project in the development of the transport infrastructure of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, is also a key part of the cargo transportation channel in the west of the Pearl River Delta. 

Together with the Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port, Nansha Station will strive to become a transportation hub in the Greater Bay Area offering high-quality services for passengers.
