Location for new school in Nansha confirmed

The site selection of the foreign language school of Nansha, affiliated to the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), has been published on the official website of Guangzhou municipal planning and natural resources bureau, local media outlets reported on Jan 20. 

The school will be built to the east of Wanqingsha town and west of Wanxin Avenue, covering an overall area of 134,471 square meters.

Nansha district signed the cooperation framework agreement with GDUFS to jointly build the foreign language school in the district in March 2017.

The school will receive support from the local government while getting investment from private companies. It has been designed as a high-end international bilingual private school, offering education for students in kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school and international high school classes.
