The administrative service center of Dagang Advanced Manufacturing Base in Guangzhou's Nansha district recently unveiled its plaque, according to local media reports on Jan 5.

The service center, the first in the base to finish construction, has been designed to undertake various functions such as investment attraction, administration and overall management. It has been open to the public for free since Jan 1.

The service center's main building has five floors while the north and south towers of the building have four floors and five floors each. The first floor of the main building is the exhibition hall for showcasing materials in areas including overall planning and local preferential policies, part of efforts to attract more high-quality projects to settle in the base.

Dagang Advanced Manufacturing Base, covering a total area of 8.21 square kilometers, is aimed at becoming a world-leading advanced manufacturing base featuring the integration of industry and city, and characterized by low-carbon development.

It is also an important platform for pushing forward the development of the advanced manufacturing industry in Nansha, increasing basic industrial capacity and upgrading the quality of industrial chains.

Currently, a batch of companies involved in industries spanning high-end equipment, shipping, and advanced manufacturing has settled in the base, including Guangdong Bona Robot Co Ltd, China Aviation Cloud, and Beijing Jingdiao Group.

The base is expected to finish construction of all its supporting facilities by the end of 2021 to attract more projects to settle in Nansha.
