Nansha district, which is the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, is striving to become the first choice in the area for young entrepreneurs and innovators from Hong Kong and Macao.

A number of well-known incubators at home and abroad like TusStar have been introduced to the district, and the district has built a one-stop service platform for innovation and entrepreneurship and the talent community that integrates offices, living and cultural entertainment.

"We have an intermediary agency that specializes in providing services such as enterprise registration and taxation, which is very convenient for entrepreneurship projects," said Yin Guangzong, executive general manager of TusStar (Guangzhou) High-tech Business Incubator Co Ltd.

TusStar has 160 physical bases in more than 80 cities around the world, and is the largest physical incubator in China. To date, it has incubated over 10,000 enterprises, of which 41 are directly listed and 40 are indirectly listed. Its equity income exceeded 20 billion yuan ($3.04 billion).

Chuanghuigu in Nansha was in the first batch of the Guangdong and Hong Kong youth innovation and entrepreneurship bases in China. It provides diversified services in innovation and entrepreneurship for young entrepreneurship teams from Hong Kong and Macao.

So far, the base has attracted 156 entrepreneurship teams or enterprises, of which 146 are from Hong Kong and Macao.

Nansha has also launched internship programs, job attachment programs, and supportive policies for entrepreneurship and innovation.

The Professional Elite job attachment program launched by the district in 2020 has provided 100 jobs with high salaries and strong competitiveness for new graduates from Hong Kong and Macao.

The 30 supportive policies launched by Nansha offer incentives and subsidies to young people from the two regions to reduce the risks and costs of employment and entrepreneurship they face on the Chinese mainland.

The district also introduced the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Entrepreneurship Guidance Fund, which plans to carry out activities such as an innovation and entrepreneurship competition and set a platform for investment and finance docking for Hong Kong and Macao start-up projects.

To date, all the innovation and entrepreneurship bases for Hong Kong and Macao youths have signed nearly 300 projects, among which 215 are from Hong Kong and Macao.
