An exchange meeting on preferential policies for Hong Kong and Macao residents in Nansha was held on Nov 18 in the district.
Nansha has released a series of policies on the actual demands of Hong Kong and Macao residents in the district, covering a variety of areas from employment and entrepreneurship to living and housing.
Attendees of the meeting included representatives of Hong Kong and Macao talents and enterprises introduced to Nansha shared their experiences in benefiting from Nansha's preferential policies, as well as put forward suggestions. Pressing issues like preferential individual income tax for Hong Kong and Macao talents, as well as support for innovation and entrepreneurship were discussed during the meeting.
Sun Yong, vice mayor of Nansha, said that he hopes Hong Kong and Macao talents in Nansha can make full use of the local preferential policies and the district's convenient services to make joint contributions to the construction of the demonstration zone for all-around cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao in Nansha.
Sun added that Nansha will further enhance communications with Hong Kong and Macao talents to improve its policy service level.
The development and reform bureau of Nansha district has established an online one-stop service platform for users to access the latest information about preferential policies for Hong Kong and Macao residents at the national, provincial, municipal, and district levels.
