Philips sets up innovation center on sleep apnea in Nansha

The launching ceremony for Philips (China) Investment Co Ltd's innovation center on sleep apnea was held on Oct 10 in Kingboard Square in Guangzhou's Nansha district.

Philips has initially planned to set up a research institute on the application of health technology in Nansha along with five centers for medical exhibition and training, artificial intelligence data, rehabilitation for chronic disease and tumor, sleep apnea, as well as the upgrading of medical systems.

Ruan Xiaohong, deputy mayor of Nansha district, said that the cooperation between Nansha and Philips will strongly boost the development of the district's health technology industry and make great contributions to the establishment of a world leading life health industry cluster in Nansha.
