The support system for the open road testing of smart autonomous vehicles in the Lingshan Island area of Nansha's Pearl Bay has been put online and has been recently scheduled to start the second-phase of testing.

The system has integrated various advanced technologies, such as the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), high accuracy sensors, and wireless communication, collecting data from intelligent street lamps alongside the road, as well as storing information like illegal parking, noise, and red light violations to ensure the stability and security of smart autonomous driving.

The operation of the support system is expected to offer hardware technical support for further demonstration application and testing, including autonomous driving, vehicle-road coordination, and smart transportation, in the Lingshan Island area.

It will also accelerate the construction of the new generation of smart transportation systems in the Pearl Bay, as well as attract more domestic and overseas outstanding companies from the upstream and downstream of the smart vehicles industry to settle in Nansha.

Currently, 5G signals have covered the roads for open testing, such as Jiangling South Road, Jiangling North Road, and Fenghuang Avenue, to provide high-speed and stable 5G network support.
