The headquarters economy in Guangzhou's Nansha district has begun to take shape, after two more headquarters projects signed to settle there.

Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited (BEWG) will give full play to the company's advantages in areas spanning water resource industry investment, design, construction, operation and technical services to establish a platform company managing investment and operations for water environment projects in Nansha.

China State Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau, subordinated to China State Construction, has signed to set up a wholly-owned company in Nansha. The company, with a registered capital of 90 million yuan ($13.14 million), will mainly manage businesses covering investment, development, construction, management and maintenance for overseas infrastructure projects and industrial parks.

This Nansha-based company is expected to boost the import and export trade of construction equipment manufactured in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with the annual trade volume set to exceed 10 billion yuan.

Nansha has been offering all-round support to attract subsidiary companies of state-owned companies to the district. This support includes giving subsidies for staff members' individual income tax and providing support when registering for hukou.
