Malaysian food festival takes over Nansha Grand Hotel

The Malaysia Food Festival kicked off on July 17 at Nansha Grand Hotel and will last until Aug 31.

Supported by the Nansha culture, radio, TV, tourism and sports bureau, the food festival was jointly organized by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Guangzhou, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, as well as the Guangzhou office of Tourism Malaysia.

Being a multicultural, dynamic, and vibrant country, Malaysia is famous for its delicious cuisine, which emphasizes the extensive use of spices. In addition, the cuisine has also integrated features from other countries like China and India, showcasing its charm through integration and innovation.

George Lee, a famous Malaysian chef and chief operating officer of Joyce Private Gourmet, has been invited to bring traditional delicacies to the festival, such as otak-otak, Malay durian glutinous rice, curry prawns, and teh tarik.

Opening time: July 17 to Aug 31, 18:00 to 21:00

Price: 336 yuan ($48.04)/adult, 168 yuan/child
