13 more major projects settle in Nansha

A ceremony for the signing or groundbreaking of 13 major projects of Guangzhou's Nansha district in 2020 was held on July 8, being the fourth of its kind that has been held by the district this year.

Three projects started construction, including the Nansha hub area for the industrial park on in-depth cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong, while 10 other projects were signed to settle in Nansha, such as the Sino-Canada biotechnology industrial park.

All of these projects, covering various areas like biomedicine, scientific innovation, high-end commerce, and smart manufacturing, have reached a total agreed investment of 34.25 billion yuan ($4.9 billion), while their production value and revenue after reaching design capacity will amount to 70.83 billion yuan.

Starting this year, Nansha has signed contracts or started construction for 113 projects worth more than 250 billion yuan.
