Nansha will hold nine live streaming activities during the upcoming three-day online live streaming e-commerce festival from June 6 to 8 in Guangzhou.

The live streaming e-commerce festival, which is being held for the first time, is hosted by the Guangzhou municipal commerce bureau and will feature more than 1,000 Guangzhou-made products.

The festival is also the first of its kind in China that is being held at the city level to promote products via live streaming.

Nansha's activities will cover a wide range of themes, including high quality Nansha products, high-tech home products, business circles, characteristic foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce, as well as support for agriculture.

It is expected that consumers can get a close look at the products of Nansha companies and participate in the online promotion to help local companies increase their sales volume.

At present, more than 60 well-known companies based in Nansha have registered to attend the activities.

Discounts will also be made available during the live streaming for buying products, such as a discount of up to 50,000 yuan ($7,057.13) for those purchasing new energy vehicles.
