Intl technology conference to be held in Nansha long term

The Nansha commerce bureau has signed a cooperation letter of intent with an advertisement company on May 18 to turn the CNBC Global Technology Conference into a new platform for international scientific communication and cooperation in the long term.

It is also expected to enable Nansha to play a bigger role in the construction of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao science and technology innovation corridor, as well as the international technological innovation center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

An annual tech event that brings together the world's most influential technology leaders, the CNBC Global Technology Conference has been held in Guangzhou's Nansha district for two consecutive years since 2018.

The conference is sponsored by the CNBC channel, a global leader for news in areas like business and technology.

As the host site of the conference, Nansha has benefited greatly from the event in areas like upgrading its opening-up level, achieving more matchmaking opportunities with international scientific projects, as well as showcasing its progresses in socioeconomic development through CNBC.
