Shipping logistics giant sets up regional headquarters in Nansha

The Guangzhou Operation Center of Sinotrans South China Co Ltd and Sinotrans South China Container Logistics Co Ltd unveiled their plaques on May 14 in Guangzhou's Nansha district.

Sinotrans South China Co Ltd is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinotrans Limited, one of the top 500 Chinese companies.

Sinotrans South China Co Ltd will make full use of Nansha's advantages in location, industry, and policy, as well as utilize the company's resources in comprehensive logistics service to build a headquarters for container logistics of Sinotrans Limited in South China in Nansha.

Pan Yuzhang, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of the Nansha Development Zone, said that the district has been devoting continuous efforts in turning the area into a center for shipping, finance, and trade in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Pan added that introducing the Guangzhou Operation Center to Nansha will help to increase the international influence of Nansha's shipping industry.

Efforts will also be made in establishing public and open platforms for e-commerce logistics, as well as establishing a whole-process supply chain service system for container logistics in Nansha, aiming to achieve the high quality development of the district.
