Seacon Shipping Group sets up regional headquarters in Nansha

Guangzhou Seacon Shipping Group, the headquarters of Seacon Shipping Group in the South China area, was inaugurated in Guangzhou's Nansha district on April 20.

Seacon Shipping Group currently is the largest domestic third-party ship management company in China.

The company is expected to provide one-stop services in the operation and management of ships for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as offer solutions for marine logistics.

It will bolster the construction of turning Nansha into an international shipping hub and contribute to the further development of the shipping industry in the district.

Guo Jinkui, chairman of Seacon Shipping Group, noted that Nansha is the international shipping hub in Guangzhou, as well as the center for logistics and trade. The establishment of the company in Nansha was an important move carried out by the group in its strategic layout in the South China area.

Chen Zekai, general manager of Seacon Shipping Group, added that the group's headquarters for the South China area in Nansha will make full use of the preferential policies in both the Nansha area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Greater Bay Area, effectively reducing the operation cost of the company and expanding the South China market.
