Experts give suggestions on youth social affairs of Nansha

The Youth Affairs Social Work Workshop of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area held discussions on social governance in Nansha from May 9-10.

Nansha is a major cooperation platform of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and has achieved great developments in transportation, industry, science and technology cooperation, youth innovation and entrepreneurship, financial matters, education and medical care.

Zhu Chengzhi, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Nansha District Committee and minister of the Organization Department said "Nansha will continue to play the reform and innovation advantages of the state-level zone and the pilot free trade zone."

"It will accelerate the construction of a world-class business environment and living environment, and create a new hub for modern industrial agglomeration," he added.

Eleven representatives from the youth social work organizations of the Greater Bay Area jointly launched the Youth Affairs Social Work Cooperation and Development Strategic Alliance Initiative.

The alliance proposes to adhere to the principles of social work, fulfill their professional mission, and establish a mutual exchange mechanism.

The team of instructors will inject a professional force into youth affairs to take resources sharing and academic integration to a higher level.

The Nansha New District Youth Affairs Social Worker Training Program was released on May 9. According to a representative of the district youth association, the program will further deepen the youth social work exchanges and cooperation among Nansha, Hong Kong and Macao.

The program will promote a new mode of cooperation and exchange of social services for youth affairs and cultivate a reasonable structure, excellent quality and outstanding youth work social work team.

Scholars and social workers conducted in-depth discussions on the construction of the social work team, the progress of social work in Hong Kong and Macao, and the integration of social work and various fields.

Nansha will cultivate a group of young professionals in social affairs, and continue to improve a couple of demonstration projects to advance the social service system, innovate grassroots governance and lead society toward harmony.
