South China's Guangdong province and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions have vowed to enhance the quality and competitiveness of their skilled talent to better serve the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the months to come.
More than 1,000 young people from Hong Kong have been employed on the Chinese mainland in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area following trial implementation of a youth employment plan, according to labor and welfare authorities.
Since its launch in April, the passenger ferry service connecting Guangzhou and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has grown in use, with departures and arrivals rising to five both ways this week.
