On Sept 29, the Guangzhou international Friendship City culture and art troupe graced Auckland, New Zealand, with performances to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the Mid-Autumn Festival.
As China becomes more connected with the world, an increasing number of foreigners are coming to Guangzhou for various reasons such as family reunions, travel, education, employment, and long-term stays.
The 16th China International Comics Festival and the 20th CACC Golden Dragon Award Ceremony kicked off in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Tuesday, amid high expectation of industry insiders to further promote the development of the country's comic and animation industry and help build the Guangdong provincial capital into a city of comic.
The Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday are just around the corner, and numerous parks in Guangzhou have prepared a myriad of vibrant activities to celebrate.
Travel: More steps taken to regulate market acts
To celebrate the upcoming festival, the Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, Tianhe District Government and Liede Community held a cultural exchange event in the Guangyue community of Tianhe District on September 23. About 60 international volunteers, as well as local residents and expats, participated in the event.
