Guangzhou reported that there were zero newly confirmed local Covid-19 cases, zero new domestic asymptomatic Covid-19 cases, 3 newly confirmed imported cases, and 4 new imported asymptomatic cases.
Traffic and passenger flows resumed on Thursday afternoon in the Fangcun area of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, after it had been locked down due to coronavirus outbreak concerns for more than 20 days.
Guangzhou will implement COVID-19 containment measures on an accurate and scientific basis, and get Fangcun to resume normal life.
Baihedong Street in Liwan District has been changed from a high-risk area to a medium-risk area. Risk levels of other areas have remained unchanged.
