This street, stretching over 800 meters, is home to more than 120 Korean-themed restaurants, including 47 Korean barbecue establishments, along with numerous Korean supermarkets, beverage shops, and leisure venues.

It offers a one-stop service for dining, accommodation, transportation, tourism, shopping, and entertainment.

Since the late 1990s, Yuanjing Road has attracted Korean merchants due to its convenient transportation and low rent. After redevelopment, it has evolved into a distinctive cultural and tourism block with an annual revenue of approximately 8 billion yuan ($1.15 billion).

The area not only preserves authentic Korean cuisine and services, such as complimentary side dishes and full-table cooking assistance, but also enhances the consumer experience through merchant commitments to "assured consumption" and "offline no-reason returns".

In recent years, Yuanjing Road has fostered its night economy and plans to invest in upgrading its streetscape by incorporating trendy Korean elements, aiming to establish itself as an international cultural and tourism landmark.

Baiyun has integrated the street into its commercial circle system, supporting its bid to become a municipal-level night market pilot zone and promoting its development into a uniquely international and trendy district in Guangzhou.
