Core projects make Baiyun Guangzhou's 'Ingredients Capital'
Guangzhou's Baiyun district is accelerating the development of the "Guangzhou Ingredients Capital", a key food industry cluster in the district. Substantial progress has been made in several core projects.
The Guangzhou Ingredients Capital E-commerce Integrated Trading Center has been completed in Baiyun, with a focus on cold-chain logistics and e-commerce integration. It has attracted over 30 companies and introduced an innovative "reverse flyover" collaboration model with partners like Zhanjiang city.
The Central Kitchen project, a modern food logistics and distribution center, has reached critical milestones: the western trading zone is finished and awaiting inspection, while the eastern zone has moved above ground, marking a new construction phase. Upon completion, it is expected to serve more than 50 million residents across the Greater Bay Area.
The Greater Bay Area Food Basket Trading Center has also been designated a provincial- and municipal-level key project, and Qmama's South China Smart Supply Chain Base has broken ground.
By advancing projects such as the Lehe Food Technology Industrial Park, Baiyun aims to integrate ingredient processing, supply chains, and consumption, fostering a modern food industry cluster and injecting new momentum into the district's high-quality development.
