National Games mascots promoted to city ambassadors
The themed launch ceremony "Charming Guangzhou: 'National Games mascots' welcomes the New Year" was held at Yuntai Garden on Dec 28.
During the event, they were awarded the title "City Promotion Ambassador", while the mascot design team issued a unique "Birth Certificate" specifying its "birthplace" as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and its birthdate as Nov 9, 2024. This marks the character's transformation from a sports event symbol into a cultural asset of the city.

At the ceremony, the National Games mascots and themed parade vehicles made a joint appearance, featuring a debut street dance performance and the launch of the theme song I Love You, National Games Mascots. The event attracted many citizens who joined in the festivities and captured memorable moments.
Moving forward, the mascots will embark on diversified expansions: they will promote cultural and tourism activities in Harbin, Hohhot, and Hong Kong; integrate into Guangzhou's New Year celebrations, including climbing events and flower fair parades; and launch a National Games mascots-themed carnival at the Olympic Sports Center in 2026. Additionally, Guangzhou Grand Theatre plans to create artworks for children featuring the mascot. Cultural and creative products, co-branded merchandise, and city sculptures of National Games mascots will gradually populate public spaces across Guangzhou.
Furthermore, National Games mascots are scheduled to appear on CCTV's Chinese New Year's Day gala, and netizens are eagerly anticipating their possible debut on the Spring Festival Gala stage.
