Perfume museum certified as world's largest by Guinness World Records
On Nov 27, the Xuelei Perfume Museum in Guangzhou's Baiyun district was certified by Guinness World Records as the World's Largest Perfume Museum, featuring an immersive exhibition space exceeding 9,500 square meters.
The museum's exhibit space exceeds the minimum of 6,000 sq m, with more than half dedicated to perfume-themed zones, satisfying multiple strict standards, including public accessibility. It includes specialized areas such as the global perfume exhibition hall, synaesthesia perfume gallery, DIY perfume workshop, and sky perfume garden. Using smart technology and interactive displays, the museum provides visitors with a multi-sensory fragrance experience.
Backed by 30 years of industry expertise, Xuelei has deeply integrated industrial progress with cultural expression. The Guinness certification seeks to present the strategic growth and modern interpretation of Chinese perfume culture to audiences worldwide.
Since opening in July this year, the museum has quickly become a new cultural and tourism hotspot in Guangzhou, establishing itself as an important platform that connects tradition and innovation while promoting cultural confidence in Chinese perfume heritage.
