Guangzhou's humanoid robot gains spotlight with cutting-edge capabilities

Recently, the full-sized humanoid robot "Li Dian", independently developed by Guangzhou Ligong Industry in Baiyun district, was selected for the Guangdong Province Scientific and Technological Innovation and Industrial Innovation Integrated Development Achievement Exhibition, attracting widespread attention.

The robot demonstrates high precision and high load capacity, featuring 28 degrees of freedom throughout its body and a maximum joint peak torque of 320 Newton meters. It can walk rapidly, navigate obstacles with agility, and perform delicate operations accurate to the width of a human hair. Additionally, it can lift objects weighing between 20 and 40 kilograms with both hands, making it highly effective in production settings.

As a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in sophisticated technologies and innovative solutions, Ligong Industry has been focused on precision manufacturing and artificial intelligence for nearly four decades. The company invests 20 percent of its annual revenue in research and development, maintaining full ownership of its intellectual property rights. Its products have been applied across various sectors, including aerospace and discrete manufacturing. Currently, orders far exceed supply, with production schedules covering billions of yuan.
