Since its launch at the end of 2023, Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station has served over 10 million passengers.

On its peak day, passenger flow exceeded 210,000, establishing the station as a pivotal transportation hub during the holiday season.
With the upcoming opening of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway and the second phase of the Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway nearing completion at the end of this year, the station is projected to handle over 300,000 passengers daily during the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush.
As one of Asia's largest Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) hubs, Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station leverages its integrated transportation network – combining high-speed rail, subway, and intercity services – to connect seamlessly with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area within one hour and extend its reach to Southeast Asia within three hours.
The station's surrounding area has already seen the completion of super complexes such as Yuesheng Plaza and Nuode Cloud City.
Additionally, the Baiyun International Medical and Wellness City project, with a total investment exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), has been introduced. The first phase of this project, the Baiyun Perennial International Hospital, is set to start operation in 2026.
