The above-ground part of the terminal boasts a spacious, well-lit interior, with a sunlit atrium that improves the atmosphere. The underground area blends the lively images of aircraft taking off with Guangzhou's long-standing commercial history. Its ceiling features flowing lines to symbolize the majesty of flights leaving Guangzhou, while the stone floor mimics the layered look of ancient Beijing Road. Gold wave-shaped decorative panels on the walls reflect the prosperity of the Silk Road.

The T3 rail transit hub, located across two underground levels of the transportation center, is designed to serve multiple intercity and high-speed rail lines, including the Guangcong and Guangzhou-Zhuhai routes. It features five platforms and 12 tracks, with nearly 10 kilometers of extra rail infrastructure reserved.

Once operational, passengers will be able to reach Guangzhou Railway Station or Baiyun Station within 20 minutes, allowing for seamless connections across the Greater Bay Area and other provincial cities. Supporting projects are currently being accelerated to make this vision a reality.

Upon opening, T3 will increase Baiyun Airport's yearly passenger capacity to 120 million and cargo throughput to 3.8 million metric tons, establishing it as a key center for expanding international flight routes and enhancing its status as a global aviation hub.
