The competition adheres strictly to the standards of the National Games and features six events: canoe slalom, canoe, and extreme canoe slalom, all in both men's and women's categories. The extreme canoe slalom event stands out for its high entertainment value and intense competition, with approximately 110 athletes set to compete on its challenging course, showcasing their speed and skills.
The Guangdong team will use this test event to acclimate to the National Games competition environment, evaluate their training results, and adjust their status. Preparations, including course layout and water gate calibration, are nearly complete.
On the first day of the event, four individual preliminary and final races will take place, with the following day focusing on the extreme canoe slalom championship.
This test event will provide crucial practical insights for the main event of the 15th National Games, helping to enhance event organization and service levels.
