Guangzhou Intl Esports Center to open in Baiyun
The Guangzhou International Esports Center, the first professional esports arena in Guangzhou, is set to open next to Xiamao Metro Station in Baiyun district.
The arena is large, covering about 4,000 square meters with a total construction area of around 8,000 sq m. It is centered around the theme of "Digital Baiyun Mountain and Pearl River" and is planned to have five floors, including a venue for national B-level esports events.

The venue's exterior facade reflects Baiyun Lake Digital Science City by combining abstract mountain and cloud shapes with architectural elements. Perforated aluminum panels and lighting projections on the facade evoke urban landscapes, highlighting the beauty of a digital cityscape.
Designed as an esports-themed complex, it combines esports culture with commercial activities. The first and second floors will feature an esports-focused commercial zone, including formats like "Esports + Pop-up Shops" and esports-themed collaborative dining. Floors three through five will host esports events, with the main studio featuring a column-free layout and 650 professional viewing seats to accommodate large-scale esports competitions.
Upon its completion, the project is poised to host national esports events.
