On June 27, the plot identified as AB0403135, located within the Guangzhou Aviation Supporting Industrial Park in Jianggao town, Baiyun district, was subject to an auction. 

The winning bid was submitted by Guangzhou Lehe Industrial Park, a subsidiary of Lehe Food Group, amounting to 7.46 million yuan ($1.04 billion).

This plot is classified as industrial/warehousing land, covering 5,493 square meters, with a total building area of 17448 sq m.

In July last year, Lehe Food Group had already won a neighboring plot, and the two plots will be developed together to create a raw material supply and a modern agricultural technology industrial park. Lehe Food Group, a leading national agricultural enterprise, has been based in Baiyun for 19 years. The group specializes in raw material supply services and has also expanded into catering management and cold chain logistics.

In recent years, Baiyun has promoted major agricultural initiatives, including the Guangzhou Food Capital E-commerce Integrated Trading Center and the Baiyun Agricultural Science and Technology Industrial Park. The region has been focused on accelerating the development of these projects to establish a modern urban agricultural demonstration zone.

The auction plot's amounting auction will support Baiyun in speeding up the development of a modern urban agricultural industry cluster, fostering high-quality regional agriculture growth.
