Over 100 new industrial projects signed in Baiyun
Baiyun district has been witnessing a surge in investment activity, with over 100 new industrial projects recently signed.
Since last year, the district has been significantly enhancing its industrial investment landscape, experiencing explosive growth in investment attraction. In 2024, 376 new projects were attracted, with a total investment exceeding 130 billion yuan ($18.14 billion). From January to May 2025, 111 new industrial projects were signed, with a planned total investment of around 59.1 billion yuan.
Baiyun has attracted a series of landmark and leading projects, including the National New Energy Storage Innovative Center and the Baiyun International Health and Elderly Care City project within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
