Explore lychee-themed routes in Baiyun
Guangzhou has recently launched 20 lychee-themed fun routes, two of which are in Baiyun district.
Route one, "Romantic Baiyun Countryside Experience", includes three stops. The first stop is Shengwei Lychee Orchard, which features around 600 mu (40 hectares) of mature lychee trees with various flavors, including osmanthus. Visitors can handpick lychees and enjoy a picnic under the trees. The second stop is Guodu New Family Farm (Lychee Orchard), a garden-style farm where visitors can experience an ecological science corridor. The third stop is the Honggang Art Community, a non-profit art space with multiple functions, making it an ideal destination for family visits.

Route two, "Lychee Delicacies Meet Lingnan", also has three stops. The first stop is the Baiyun International Conference Center, offering a Lingnan lychee feast with innovative lychee dishes. The second stop is the Baiyun International Hall, a new landmark in Guangzhou, where visitors can admire Lingnan gardens. On Aug 8 and 9, the drama The Litchi Road will be performed here. The third stop is the Yunxi Botanical Garden, located at the western foot of Baiyun Mountain, where visitors can appreciate the beauty of its new Lingnan garden and the fusion of botanical science. The fragrance garden here is also filled with ripe lychees.
