The 11th Guangzhou International Investment Conference is scheduled to be held at the Baiyun International Convention Center in Guangzhou from June 26 to 27, with the theme of building a central world city with classic charm and contemporary vitality.

During the conference, representatives from numerous Fortune 500 companies, central enterprises, and emerging forces in the production field will gather in Baiyun.

Baiyun district is the largest, most populous, and most potential central urban area in Guangzhou, with a GDP of 315.6 billion yuan ($43.96 billion) in 2024, ranking second in growth rate and fourth in total amount in the city. In recent years, it has developed a modern industrial cluster with a scale exceeding 700 billion yuan.

Baiyun has also launched multiple investment platforms: Guangzhou Private Science Park, adjacent to transportation hubs, with an industrial space of over 2 million square meters and a total operating income of 222.9 billion yuan in 2024; Baiyun New City positioned as an "international exchange center" with a gathering of leading enterprises; Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City positioned as a highland for "Digital China" practice, with multiple projects stationed; Guangzhou Design Capital has become the largest design industry agglomeration area in the country, with an output value exceeding 80 billion yuan in 2024.

Baiyun is set to focus on promoting 73 land transfers this year and invites investments from all parties.
