The renovation involved four main buildings, including training halls, with a total area of 26,682 square meters. The venue details are comprehensive, featuring elevators with low-floor kick-open doors and voice prompts for wheelchair users, as well as signage that includes Braille and voice guidance. Additionally, accessible restrooms are equipped with emergency call buttons, and new smart accessibility features include digital customer service. The lighting in the facility meets Level Five standards for major event broadcasting requirements and utilizes dual-circuit power supply lines.
Currently, the center is promoting blind gate ball and dryland curling activities for students with disabilities in Baiyun district. The 15th National Games and the Special Olympics are expected to feature 36,000 athletes, surpassing the scale of the Paris Olympics, with four venues in Baiyun district serving as competition venues.
