The reopening ceremony for Xingfa Plaza in Sanyuanli sub-district, Baiyun district, was held on June 10.

This square started as a warehousing business in the mid-1990s and gradually developed into the world's largest cosmetics exhibition and trade center, witnessing 30 years of development in the Chinese cosmetics industry.

As the first area to kick off Sanyuanli sub-district's urban renovation, Xingfa Plaza's Phases III and IV have been relocated in advance. To ensure a smooth transition for merchants, Sanyuanli sub-district and the plaza have collaborated to reduce the burden on businesses through measures such as rent relief.

Over 600 shops have completed contract signings and opened for business, covering a range of categories, including beauty, skincare, and makeup.

The demolition of buildings in Phases III and IV was completed on time and to a high standard. The land will be used to construct resettlement houses for villagers, with construction expected to begin on June 30.

The urban renovation project in Sanyuanli sub-district is progressing smoothly, with a signing rate of over 70 percent in the old village. The project will focus on upgrading and transforming the Guangzhou Railway Station hub, creating a new gateway for Guangzhou and an international consumption center.
