The Golden Beltway (Yagang Avenue - Beitai Road) has reached 99 percent construction progress and is expected to be open to traffic by the end of this month.

This road, a key national transportation project located in the western part of Baiyun district, runs in a north-south direction, starting from Yagang Avenue in the south and connecting to Yashen Road in the north, with a total length of approximately 7.7 kilometers. It is planned as a major urban road with 10 lanes in each direction.

Once completed, the road will serve as a vital access route linking Guangzhou International Port and Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City, enhancing travel convenience.

Construction of the sections is in its final stages, with workers carrying out asphalt paving, landscaping, streetlight installation, and marking signage and lane delineation.

Once open, it will strengthen connections between Guangzhou International Port and Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City, improving transportation in Baiyun district and northern Guangzhou.
