Baiyun Lake, known as the "Little West Lake" of Guangzhou, is currently adorned with blooming lotus flowers. Layers of leaves and elegant flowers stand tall, as a gentle breeze carries a sweet fragrance through the air. In the morning, the sun gently caresses the shy and charming flowers, while in the evening, the warm golden sunlight peeks through the gaps in the leaves.
Luoyong Park boasts a 33,000 square meter water area, making it one of the largest lotus pond landscapes in Guangzhou. With a variety of lotus species, complemented by pavilions, towers, and stone arch bridges, the park takes on a mystical aura, especially on rainy and foggy days. Twin flowers are also a common sight here.
In front of the octagonal ancient temple in Nancun village, the lotus pond showcases unique thousand-petal flowers, exuding a lingering fragrance. The soft light during early mornings and evenings creates excellent opportunities for photography, either framed with the temple or captured from a low angle.
At the Huigui Forests of Baiyun Mountain, lotus flowers adorn the lush greenery, creating a serene and calm atmosphere amidst the fresh and elegant surroundings. June is the best time for lotus viewing, but don't forget to take precautions against sunburn and mosquitoes.
