Updated : April 24, 2025

In early summer, Baiyun district in Guangzhou becomes an excellent destination for picking fruit in the countryside. Without needing a long journey, residents can taste fresh fruits such as Jaboticaba, mulberries, blueberries, White Jade Loquats, and star fruits here.

At Fengyi Ecological Park, the Jaboticabas are ripe, bursting with flavor, and reasonably priced. The mulberries at Dagangling Farm, Guodu Farm, Zihong Forestry, Runtu Picking Garden, and Hetian Mulberry Picking Garden are all ripe, naturally grown without additives, and extremely sweet.

The blueberry bushes at the Green Fresh Blueberry Planting Base are poised for a bountiful harvest, and the facility is concurrently developing a range of blueberry-based products.

For the first time, the "White Jade Loquats" at Guangzhou Brothers Ecological Orchard have borne fruit, offering a clear, juicy sweetness available until mid-May.

Additionally, the star fruits at Xiangji Orchard in Xiangwei village, Zhongluotan town, are hanging from the branches, tangy and refreshing, with the picking season also lasting until May.

Residents can contact the orchards in advance to avoid missing out, gather some picking partners, set off immediately, and enjoy a mouthful of sweet and sour satisfaction.
