Guangzhou unveils cross-border ecosystem plan

Updated : March 26, 2025

On March 21, the 2025 International Cross-border Industry Cluster Summit was held in Baiyun district.

Hosted by Yiyun Group, this summit themed "Cross-border New Era: Trade Grand Future" brought together government, business, and academia representatives to discuss new global trade opportunities.

During the conference, it was revealed that Guangzhou would welcome the establishment of Chinese customs and the setting up of a public bonded warehouse. The initiative aims to significantly reduce the cost for enterprises venturing into international markets through customs' AEO certification, professional quarantine, and other end-to-end compliance services.

Yiyun Group plans to launch the construction of Phases 8 and 9 within the year, integrating the existing customs building and bonded warehouse to form a four-dimensional linkage of "customs + warehousing + finance + digital", creating a cluster effect where one building is an ecosystem, and one floor is an industrial chain.

Simultaneously, the "Three Centers · Yiyun Wisdom Cloud" ecosystem was unveiled, integrating a duty-free global shopping showcase center, an import duty-free base, and a 72-hour global logistics network to establish a new channel for "buying globally and selling globally".

This initiative not only solidifies the foundation of Guangzhou's first cross-border industry cluster but also aims to solve the pain points of cross-border logistics through the "batched out-of-zone centralized customs declaration" model, supporting the Guangdong-Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area in building the most efficient and cost-effective trade hub.
