Bus Line 1 in Songzhou Street started its service on Feb 17, connecting Xichang Metro Station (Line 5) with the Huawei Guangzhou Research and Development Center, providing a convenient public transportation route.

The line is approximately 3 kilometers long and designed for efficient commuting. There are no intermediate stops along the way, and it operates only on weekdays. Tickets purchased offline cost 5 yuan ($0.68), while online purchases receive a 1-yuan discount.

Guangzhou Second Bus Company stated that after multiple on-site surveys and a deep understanding of corporate employees' commuting needs, they finalized the station layout and operational model for Bus Line 1 in Songzhou Street.

The line operates on a "fixed point and schedule" model, utilizing an intelligent dispatching system to monitor passenger flow in real time and ensure commuting efficiency.

As a core Bay Area New Shore project, the Huawei Guangzhou Research and Development Center has attracted numerous upstream and downstream enterprises since its establishment. This research center is Huawei Technologies Company's first research and development base in Guangzhou, covering an area of approximately 119,300 square meters with a total construction area of around 305,000 sq m, featuring a modern and beautiful environment.

The opening of this bus route provides surrounding residents and corporate employees with a more convenient and efficient travel option.
