The construction of the first open airport observation deck in China – Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport T3 terminal observation deck has recently been completed.

The observation deck, which covers approximately 200 square meters, is located on the eighth floor of the T3 terminal building and provides unobstructed panoramic views. Visitors can watch planes take off and land up close, capturing the full view of the T1 and T2 terminal buildings.

The observation deck has become the best vantage point at Baiyun Airport, allowing people to see aircraft details clearly, including the text on the fuselage.

The main structure of the Baiyun Airport T3 terminal building has been completed, and the curtain wall and roof works are in the final stages. Interior decoration is also progressing simultaneously, with completion and delivery expected in the second half of this year.

The expansion project is expected to meet the demand for an annual passenger throughput of 120 million, an annual cargo throughput of 3.8 million metric tons, and 775,000 aircraft movements per year.
