Recently, the first batch of eight Southern Guangdong Red and Green Paths for 2024 was announced, including the Southern Guangdong Red and Green Path of Maofeng Mountain in Guangzhou, which became the only selected path in Guangzhou.

The Southern Guangdong Red and Green Paths utilizes various types of natural reserves, State-owned forest farms, mountain parks, and other green spaces in Guangdong province, combining red resources and creating new carriers for red cultural education, natural education, and forest eco-tourism that are enjoyable, informative, and educational.

The Southern Guangdong Red and Green Path of Maofeng Mountain is approximately 2 kilometers long, connecting multiple distinctive areas, including leisure eco-recreational trails, natural education study trails, popular cultural science education trails, cultural experience cores, and ancient temple stations.

Maofeng Mountain scenic area was designated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction last year, where visitors can enjoy sights such as ancient paths, towering ancient trees, and the Red Maple Garden, experiencing a blend of red culture and natural landscapes.

In addition to exploring the Southern Guangdong Red and Green Path, visitors can also tour the Maofeng Mountain scenic area along Tianhu Lake, Red Maple Garden, and the Mountain Top Plaza.
