Grandview Maofengwan Lantern Festival about to open
The 2025 Grandview Maofengwan Lantern Festival, jointly organized by Grandview Group and Baiyun district, is set to kick off on Jan 25, lasting for three days.
This lantern festival is set to recreate the festival scenery of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), allowing visitors to experience the joy of Tang-style lantern appreciation, featuring dazzling scenes, original markets, folk displays, and showcasing the unique charm of Lingnan culture.

Multiple large-scale lantern displays, including the 16-meter high, 8-meter extended giant lantern group "Shangyuan Lanterns", are set to grace the lantern festival, collectively forming a scroll of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, enabling visitors to feel as if they are under the starry sky of Chang'an city (now Xi'an city).
The festival is set to present over 50 performances, including dragon and lion dances, Cantonese opera excerpts, and more. Additionally, a Tang-style market is set to offer authentic cuisine and handicrafts, along with interactive activities like unlimited beer and dumpling making.
